Beach Stone

This photo was captured at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Southern California just after a storm. I love the pattern left by the waves receding around the rock in the foreground; it reminds me of a swim fin. Through the years I have spent countless early morning hours photographing the tide pools, cliffs, offshore rocks, and sandy coves of this fantastic place.
